After COVID-19 hit I adapted my workshop to an online version. I recorded video tutorials and developed an accompanying talk with slides and film clips. During an initial online sessions participants prepared their own phytogram experiments. During a follow-up session participants shared their work and asked further questions. In some cases, the participants received a small kit with the required chemistry and film stock.
Different iterations of this online version were organised by the following organisations: Northwest Film Forum, Interbay Cinema Society, London Alternative Photography Collective, Echo Park Film Center, Darkroom Detroit, ULTRAcinema, Pyramid Atlantic Art Centre, Strangloscope, Polar Film Lab and Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative.
The workshop co-organised by the Interbay Cinema Society resulted in a collective film (see underneath).
