Analogue Farm

Analogue Farm is based on a former working farm in Rossendale, in a semi-rural location close to Healey Dell Nature Reserve and the South Pennine moors, yet within an hour of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. Activities include arts workshops, events, and exhibitions, drawing upon and highlight the nature, folklore and history of the surrounding landscape. The organisation focuses on ‘slow media’ and supposedly outmoded technologies that involve direct tactile engagement with materials and the land. Analogue Farm understands plants, trees, wildlife and community as of utmost importance, aiming to benefit future generations beyond our lifetime.

During a single day 21 participants made a collective film, using local plants growing on the farm. The film was screened at the end of the day in the barn.
